On a foggy morning near an old railway bridge, Emma spots a wooden sign half-hidden by ivy that reads Platform Zero. She has never heard of such a place, but soon a tiny blue train with jingling brass bells emerges from the mist, and a tall conductor with a neat grey beard invites her aboard. Conductor Merrin explains that the platform appears only on foggy days and that his train serves villages absent from ordinary maps. Inside a warm carriage, Emma meets Pip, a small mint-green creature in a red scarf who lives in Thistlebrook and describes places like Honeycomb and Fern Hollow.

When a fallen tree blocks the rails, the passengers grow worried. Emma remembers to be brave and speaks up, suggesting they solve the problem together. Granny Oak, a round woman in a purple shawl with a walking stick, proposes a plan, while a farmer supplies rope and a carpenter brings a saw. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, written for young readers and for reading aloud, treats courage, careful thinking and cooperation as everyday strengths. The story can be read on Online Masal.
