High in the velvet night sky, a very small sun named Sunny lives among the ancient, enormous stars. With his warm orange cheeks, big amber eyes and little sky-blue scarf, he watches the great stars in their silver sashes and twinkling crowns, yet they never look down at him. Feeling unseen, Sunny whispers that no one notices his small glow, and his light flickers a little dimmer.

One quiet night he spots a tiny blue-green planet drifting alone in the cold dark, wrapped in frost and snow. There Pip, a small fluffy creature in a knitted brown hat and a thin red scarf, waits with friends who are cold and scared, flowers that will not open and a river that will not flow. Sunny is honest about what he is, and perhaps his gentle warmth is enough to help. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this tale can be read on Online Masal.
