The Button Village

In Button Village, a tiny settlement built from buttons where round ones act as doors and flat ones as windows, lives Dot, a skilled button maker with bright copper hair and a red button hat. When the enormous button that powers the village mill suddenly vanishes, the mill falls silent, and there is no flour, no bread, and no familiar humming sound. Dot sets out with Pip, a small child in orange overalls, and Tock, a shy repairman, to find the missing button.

The search leads the three friends through the soft, colorful hills of the Fabric Mountains and into the Thread Forest, where tall spools and hanging strands surround them. Clues such as a red thread and tiny golden threads guide them to a clearing, where they discover that the button has become a home for a family of beetles. This heartwarming tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, which can be read on Online Masal, gently explores teamwork, problem-solving, and community as the companions combine their skills to face the challenge together.
