Oliver wakes on a sunny morning to discover his shadow has vanished, leaving only an empty spot on the wall. Dressed in his yellow t-shirt, blue shorts and red sneakers, with his green backpack in hand, he sets out to search the garden, the sidewalk and the ground beneath the big oak tree. There he finds flat, dark footprints instead, and follows them along the street and around a corner into a narrow alley he has never noticed, where a dusty door reads 'Shadow Theater.'
Inside the dark, quiet theater, a tiny winged orb called the Little Lantern greets him and leads him to a stage where shadows are rehearsing. Among them is Oliver's own shadow, wearing a small gold star pin and longing for fame, and it refuses to return home. A tall purple Director with a top hat and red bow tie proposes a deal: if the two perform together, both may join the evening's show. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle tale about friendship and teamwork can be read on Online Masal.
