The Alphabet Zoo

Ella is a young girl who loves words, wears purple reading glasses on a cord and carries a red backpack with a book charm. During a school trip to the zoo she slips ahead of her class and finds a small green gate covered in vines and letters. A voice invites her inside, and beyond the gate lies the Alphabet Zoo, a shimmering place where every animal is built from letters. There she meets Zoe the zebra and Gerald the giraffe, along with Mr. Spellworth, a small owl in a blue librarian vest who serves as the keeper.

Mr. Spellworth explains that the zoo runs on reading magic, but some letters have escaped and the magic is fading. Ella offers her help, and he sets her word puzzles carved on stone, each describing an animal and naming its first letter. Solving them is not always easy, since confused letters mix into ridiculous creatures. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle adventure about reading and language can be read on Online Masal and suits children who are beginning to read on their own.
