Noah sits on the school steps beside a cracked volcano model, sure he is the biggest mistake in the whole school. After his baking soda fizzes too high and the papier-mâché mountain slumps into a gooey lump, he kicks a pebble along the sidewalk until a narrow alley and a small sign catch his eye: The Museum of Tiny Mistakes — All Welcome. Inside, the caretaker Mrs. Penn, wearing a teal cardigan with mismatched buttons, shows him crooked bicycles and lopsided cakes that each became something useful or beloved, while her mint-green, floppy-eared helper Pip looks on.
Mrs. Penn explains that every mistake in the museum led to something great. When Pip accidentally knocks over the most popular exhibit, a delicate bridge of paper clips and string, the museum may have to close. Noah recognizes the sinking feeling and, recalling his failed volcano, suggests building a new bridge from the broken pieces. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows a boy learning to see failure as a starting point rather than an ending, and it can be read on Online Masal.
