The Secret of Blue Grass

In Meadow Valley, ten-year-old Ella wakes one morning to find every blade of grass in the meadow turned bright blue. While the villagers panic and the mayor calls it a sign of disaster, Ella chooses to investigate instead of guess. Armed with her magnifying glass and notebook, and joined by her sparrow friend Pip and her grandfather Aldo, she sets out to learn what really happened.

Their search leads to a rare underground flower that releases harmless blue pollen. When the flowers begin to spread quickly, the villagers want to pull them all out, and Ella must persuade everyone that the flowers belong to nature and can be handled through careful planning and teamwork. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle tale encourages curiosity, close observation and calm, evidence-based thinking. Young readers can follow Ella's methodical approach and see how respect for nature and community effort go together. The story can be read on Online Masal.
