On the hottest day of summer, Amy and Ben leave Willow Village to see the great waterfall that thunders over their green valley. At the lookout they find something impossible: the waterfall hangs frozen in great sheets of ice, and the river below lies completely still. Curious rather than frightened, the two friends set out to investigate.
Shimmering blue footprints lead them off the path to a hidden cave behind the ice, where they meet three frost creatures from the far north whose broken cooling machine has frozen the waterfall by accident. Amy notices small details while Ben carries tools and is ready for anything, and together with the frost family they examine the machine and repair it piece by piece. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle mystery follows the puzzle from the first strange footprints to the water rushing again, showing how observation, curiosity and cooperation can turn a surprise into a solvable problem. The tale can be read on Online Masal.
