The Mermaid and the Minotaur

Marina is a mermaid with long wavy turquoise hair, seashell clips and a shimmering aqua tail, and she spends her days exploring reefs and currents in a sparkling sea. She swims fast and loves discovering new places, yet she always swims alone. One morning a strange rumble shakes the water, and above the waves she sees a giant maze twisting from a rocky island into the sea, its stone and coral walls glowing with soft blue light.

On the shore, a shy young minotaur named Milo watches the same maze. With light brown fur, small curved horns and gentle dark eyes, he is determined to explore but does not know where to start. Marina calls out to him, and the two become a team: she knows the underwater passages, he remembers twisting paths.
