Oliver finds a small blue door in his grandmother's house and steps into a hidden magic kitchen, where spoons stir on their own, a copper kettle sings, and smiling plates dance across the table. Wearing an oversized chef hat and a striped apron, he is eager to cook a wonderful dinner for his family.
A honey-coloured wooden spoon named Spoon comes to life and explains that the kitchen runs on silly spells, and that Oliver must work with the utensils rather than against them. His first attempts go wrong: broth splashes, water boils over, and forks and napkins scatter. Spoon keeps guiding him to follow the rhythm, conduct the kettle and dance with the plates.
