In Bellhaven, seven bells hang in a tall wooden tower, and each one has its own purpose, from friendship to gratitude. Oliver, a curious boy with tousled chestnut hair and a red neck scarf, often watches them with wonder. Grandpa Felix, the stooped bell-keeper with thick white hair and round spectacles, tells him that every bell helps the villagers remember what truly matters.

One sunny morning the Bell of Forgiveness is missing, and the tower falls silent. Old quarrels return and small disagreements grow into arguments. Oliver packs his satchel and, with his sparrow friend Pip, sets out to find the bell. His search leads him to Martha the baker, who carries a hidden hurt, and to an old oak tree. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle story for children aged 5-9 can be read on Online Masal.
