In a village beside a rushing river, everyone believes trolls are grumpy and mean, and parents warn children to keep away from the old stone bridge. What they do not know is that Trevor, a large troll with mossy-green skin and warm amber eyes, lives beneath that bridge and cares for a secret garden of daisies, sunflowers and roses more than anything else. He wishes he could share their beauty but is too shy to try.
One day Trevor paints a sign and opens a small flower shop under his bridge, yet nobody comes. A single daisy left on the railing with a note catches the attention of a boy named Pip, and his curiosity begins to change things. Still, Mayor Hodge urges caution at the town meeting, and it takes an elderly customer named Marigold to spread word of the troll's gentle touch. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this warm tale about rumor and shy kindness can be read on Online Masal.
