The Cactus Who Loved Hugs

In a sunlit desert where the sand glows like gold, a round, mint-green cactus named Prickles lives among friendly neighbors. He is cheerful and caring, but one wish troubles him: he longs to hug someone, yet his sharp spines make every embrace impossible. Prickles keeps trying clever solutions, wrapping himself in a cushion, a knitted scarf, and even decorating his spines with flowers, but nothing works as he hopes.

Just as discouragement sets in, a sudden sandstorm sweeps the desert, and Prickles hears a frightened cry from Lila, a baby lizard who is lost and terrified. The tale, written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, follows his quick response and the many ways care can be shown without a physical hug.
