Grandpa Henry, a cheerful inventor living in a small cottage at the edge of the countryside, treasures a glossy cream teapot decorated with gold trim and a floral pattern. One sunny morning he fills it with warm lemonade, and the teapot's tiny brass propeller starts to whir, lifting it off the table. His granddaughter Lily, visiting in her yellow raincoat, rushes in to see it hovering, and together they strap on the teapot's leather belt with its compass and climb aboard.
Their flight carries them over rolling hills, patchwork fields and brightly painted villages, where they meet Pip, a small chimney bird with sooty grey and orange feathers and a blue knitted scarf. Pip leads them to a mysterious floating orchard, and Grandpa Henry learns what keeps the grassy island aloft. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows the pair as they seek a new way to power the teapot, and it can be read on Online Masal.
