The Caravan of Lost Things

Each spring, the village of Willowmere comes alive with anticipation when a faded rainbow-colored caravan rolls in, driven by the mysterious Mrs. Wren and her mouse companion Pip. Lucy, a small girl in a yellow raincoat, has counted the days all year for this arrival and eagerly volunteers to assist. Inside the caravan, drawers unfold like wings to reveal hundreds of lost objects, each one recorded with its story in Mrs. Wren's leather ledger.

Together with Pip, Lucy sets out to return these items to their owners, and every delivery mends a broken connection somewhere in the village. As she brings a red scarf, a blue marble and a locket back to the people who miss them, she begins to see lost things as threads that stitch people together. When Lucy finds a small wooden boat carved with the name 'Wren', she uncovers a deeper secret about Mrs. Wren's own past and the true purpose of the caravan. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN explores kindness, memory and community, and can be read on Online Masal.
