In a forest of tall trees and soft moss, a young rabbit named Pippa lives in a cozy burrow beneath a fern. With her cream fur, long upright ears, and a small sky-blue satchel with a brass buckle, she loves to explore. One sunny morning she follows an unfamiliar narrow path and discovers an old wooden bridge whose carved spiral posts glow with a faint golden light. When she steps onto the planks, the bridge whispers her name and begins telling her stories about the animals who have crossed it.

The next day Pippa finds the bridge at the centre of a quarrel between Bramble, a sturdy badger with a wooden walking staff, and Fern, a tall deer with white spots and a copper bell collar. Neither will listen to her, so she asks the bridge what it remembers about them. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN explores listening, memory and friendship, and can be read on Online Masal.
