The Little Promise Tree

Mia cherishes her sunlit garden above all other places, so the sudden appearance of a small tree with vivid emerald leaves by the old stone wall fills her with curiosity. From behind it emerges Sprout, a bark-brown little creature with leafy hair and an acorn cap, who reveals that this is the Little Promise Tree. Each kept promise adds a new leaf, while a broken one leaves the tree sad, and Mia pledges to help tend it.

Soon Mia invites her friends Leo and Rosie into the garden, where Sprout guides them toward small promises they can genuinely keep. Leo's eager first attempt goes awry with a spilled bucket and an untied shoelace, while Rosie's quiet daily watering brings her a warm feeling. The tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN explores how reliability grows through practice and how trust can be repaired, and it can be read on Online Masal.
