The Little Courage Kite

Ben is a quiet boy who likes familiar games and stays close to home, and new situations make his stomach flutter. One sunny morning his mum hands him a bright red kite with yellow stripes, a painted face and a ribbon tail with blue bows, naming it the Little Courage Kite and telling him it is small and brave, just like him.

At the park Ben starts flying the kite with cautious steps, and each day he runs a little faster and lets it rise a little higher, gaining confidence with every small success. The tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows his attempts at tag, a class nature walk, the big slide and a school talent show, showing how tiny tries can add up. This gentle story can be read on Online Masal.
