Mia, an eight-year-old in a yellow raincoat, and her six-year-old brother Theo, in blue overalls and a red cap, live in a small house at the edge of town. A rusty key found under a flowerpot and an old map with no stations marked lead them down a narrow path behind the garden to a tiny station called Mystery Stop, where a little brass engine named Pip is waiting. Pip explains that his railway serves forgotten gardens and that he stops only for careful children.

Mia and Theo ride through tall grass and under a stone bridge, finding at each secret stop a garden in need of care: weeds to pull, flowers to water, a broken swing to mend, a leaf-choked pond to clear. Mia's curiosity urges them on while Theo's caution keeps them together, and Pip's bell warns of gaps and loose stones. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this early chapter-book tale can be read on Online Masal, aloud or alone.
