The Unicorn and the Donkey

In a bright green meadow full of wildflowers, a radiant unicorn with a pearly coat, rainbow mane, and silver spiral horn spends her days helping the animals who admire her. One sunny morning, a small grey donkey in a straw hat trots in. He is plain and unassuming, yet his warm smile and quiet kindness catch her attention. Unlike the others, he asks for nothing, and a gentle friendship begins to grow between them.

When the unicorn's golden glow fades, her horn dulls, and her rainbow mane hangs limp, the rabbit and the owl drift away, unable to accept her without her shine. Only the donkey remains, sitting beside her with fresh clover, cool water, funny stories, and his straw hat to keep her warm. Written by Jane MEADOW, this heartwarming tale about true friendship, empathy, and self-acceptance can be read on Kids Tale Book.
