In this gentle tale by Jane MEADOW, a tiny fairy named Pip spends her days flying above the flowers and trees of a sunny meadow. One morning she meets Bramble, a round hedgehog with soft brown spines and a little red scarf, and invites him to fly with her. Bramble politely declines, explaining that he does not like to fly, and instead offers to show Pip the wonders he loves on the ground. Curious, Pip agrees to follow him.
Bramble guides her to Mushroom Village, along a mossy path, through a tunnel of grass blades, and past a pebble plaza with a fountain made from a dew drop, up to a village built on a fallen log. As she explores, Pip begins to notice the small world beneath her that she had flown over many times. The story can be read on Kids Tale Book and gently explores friendship between two characters who like different things.
