In a bright meadow beside a whispering wood lives Pip, a very small dragon with mint green scales, a cream belly and a little red scarf. He watches butterflies and dreams of adventures, yet what he longs for most is someone to share them with. One morning Bramble, a brown rabbit carrying a small green satchel with a brass buckle, hops into the meadow, and the two quickly become close friends, exploring streams, climbing hills and sharing berries.

Their wanderings lead them to a dark hill said to hold a cave of glowing stones. Inside, the stones shine like tiny stars, and the friends hear a small, sad sound. Behind a rock they discover Glimmer, a palm-sized sprite with pale lavender skin, silvery hair and a leaf dress, who lost her family during hide-and-seek. With an old map, Glimmer's trail of sparkles and their steady teamwork, they set out through the twisting tunnels. Written by Jane MEADOW, this gentle adventure can be read on Kids Tale Book.
