In a cozy kitchen, high on a shelf, an old blue teacup stands as a lighthouse above tea-colored water where tiny boats sail. Within it lives Pip, a lighthouse keeper no taller than a thumb, with tufty ginger hair and a navy coat with brass buttons. Each evening he climbs the winding stairs to light the lamp, guiding Captain Tilly and her fleet safely home. His friend Mabel, a grey harbour mouse in a yellow knitted cap, ties the boats to the cup's handle.

One evening a sudden storm, stirred up by a giant hand and a spoon, throws the miniature world into chaos. Waves crash, rain pelts the lighthouse, and Pip's lamp flickers out while the boats drift in the dark. Pip must find the courage to fix the lamp, and with his brass wrench he sets to work. Mabel secures the boats and Captain Tilly keeps everyone calm. This heartwarming tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN explores bravery, teamwork and perseverance, and can be read on Online Masal.
