The Storybook Lantern

On a gentle summer evening, Mira finds an old, dented lantern in her attic. Rubbing it brings forth Luna, a small golden spirit whose flame-like hair flickers and whose waist ring jingles with tiny book charms. Luna explains that she is a storybook lantern spirit, able to make the pictures of any told story glow in the air.

Mira gathers her friends Theo and Pip, a rabbit wearing a blue scarf, in the backyard for a night of shared tales drawn from their favorite books. As each story is told, Luna's light shapes it into glowing images and a new charm joins her ring. This warm tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN celebrates imagination and the joy of telling stories together, and it can be read on Online Masal.
