In a village where the wind is always singing, Theo loves to build things. One breezy morning he hears a soft ding from the recycling bin and finds that an empty glass bottle can make a lovely note when the wind crosses its top. With his best friend Mira, who carries a canvas satchel, he gathers bottles of many sizes and discovers that each one has its own voice. They bring them to Grandpa Sol, a retired musician, who shows them how adding water tunes the bottles, and together they shape a scale while Pip, Theo's blue bird, chirps along.

Theo then builds an outdoor instrument from a wooden frame with bottles hung in a row, and when the wind blows, it plays a tune. Other village children bring more bottles and learn to blow across the tops, and as the yearly music festival nears, Theo proposes a bottle orchestra. Mira sorts the children into groups, Grandpa Sol helps arrange the bottles, and the children practice blowing in rhythm. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this tale can be read on Online Masal.
