The Snowy Owl Express

In the high snowy mountains, a small snowy owl named Finn, no larger than a teacup, prepares for his very first winter delivery. With his tiny knitted blue scarf and a red leather courier satchel, he carries warm supplies to the mountain villages. Before he leaves, Mama Owl wraps her green shawl around him, reminds him of the safe routes they practised together, and gives him a wooden whistle to use if he ever needs help.

Finn's journey takes him over white slopes and through a narrow valley where snowflakes swirl around him. He brings woolen mittens to his friend Pip the finch, bread and honey to Grandpa Barrow, and blankets and tea to a rabbit family on a high ridge. As the storm thickens and his wings ache, he keeps going because the villagers are counting on him. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN explores courage, dependability and the comfort of helping others, and it can be read on Online Masal.
