The Snowflake Postman

Flurry is a tiny snowflake with six pointed arms, rosy cheeks and a little red postman's cap and satchel. Each day he zips through the frosty winter sky, carrying notes between snowflakes and stars, and the others call him the Snowflake Postman. One morning the head snowflake hands him a shimmering ice card: an invitation that must reach the Snow Queen's door before sunset. Flurry has never traveled so far alone, but he promises to try.

The journey is not easy. Gusta, a playful wind spirit, blows him off course, and the sky looks different in every direction. Nimbus, a grown-up guide with a silver compass, teaches him to read the wind, while Pip, the smallest snowflake, brings the others together with a jingling yellow bell.
