Snowdrop the rabbit enjoys snowy mornings, her white fur with grey-tipped ears helping her blend into the drifts while her berry-red scarf keeps her warm. While hopping near her burrow, she discovers a folded map tied with a thin string beneath the fresh snow. She takes it to her grandfather, Thistle, who examines it through his round spectacles and explains that it marks a path up the snowy mountain to an old, forgotten shelter. He cautions her to be careful but agrees that curiosity is a fine thing, so Snowdrop packs nuts and a blanket and sets off, following the map's marks through tall pines and past the bent pine it tells her to look for.

Halfway up, Snowdrop hears a tiny squeak and finds Pip, a small mouse in a yellow acorn-cap hat and blue button coat, buried in a snowdrift. She digs him out, wraps him in her blanket, and invites him along. Together they reach the shelter, which looks sad and broken, with a sagging roof and a loose door. Recalling her grandfather's words that a careful eye can find hidden things, Snowdrop looks closer and sees what can be mended. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN can be read on Online Masal.
