On a bright Saturday morning, Mia and Leo explore Grandpa's dusty attic and find a small sapphire box tucked behind a stack of old books. The smooth blue lid is carved with three puzzles: fitted shapes, tiny music notes, and two hands reaching toward each other. Leo is certain it must be magic, while Mia insists they look first, since every puzzle should hold a clue.
The children tackle the puzzles one at a time. Leo turns a stubborn square until it clicks, then hums higher and lower until the last carved note lights up. The two hands prove hardest of all, and tempers fray as Leo wants to quit. Mia reminds him of the notes he already solved and what persistence and teamwork really mean. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this short, warm tale for young readers and read-aloud adults can be read on Online Masal.
