Princess Marina lives in a small castle by a sparkling bay, where she runs barefoot on the warm sand and listens to the crying seagulls. One sunny day, digging in the beach, she uncovers a giant pink shell that holds a golden crown tipped with tiny pearls. When she places it on her wavy hair, the world fills with voices, and she can suddenly understand every sea creature in the bay, from a grumbling crab to a whispering fish.
What follows is less a magical adventure than a job. Marina learns that Sandy the crab, Pip the seagull and Finn the fish all have complaints, and that the tide has carried litter to the north beach. She gathers the creatures for a meeting, arranges a clean-up and tries to settle the quarrels that keep bubbling up. Even with rules and good intentions, friends still need patience and kindness, and some days the crown feels heavier than others. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows Marina as she learns what caring for the bay really asks of her, and it can be read on Online Masal.
