The Rainbow Chameleon

In the leafy treetops of a bright green jungle, a little chameleon named Hue has scales that shimmer with every color of the rainbow. While other chameleons blend into the leaves, Hue's skin shifts to mirror the sky above. Mona the monkey, Tilo the toucan, and Pip the tree frog tease him for being different and urge him to match his surroundings, leaving Hue feeling small and odd. Still, he keeps changing to match the sky rather than the leaves.

One day Hue notices a strange darkness in the sky, and his scales flash bright yellow, orange, and warning red. He tries to warn the others that a storm is coming, but they are too busy playing to listen. Undeterred, he climbs the tallest tree and flickers like a rainbow beacon until Mona finally notices.
