The Paper Moon

Amelia is a child who loves the night sky, spending her evenings counting stars and drawing planets. Her most treasured object is a paper moon she made herself, which hangs above her bed. One clear Tuesday night, this paper moon starts to glow, and mysterious blue-white constellations appear across its surface.

Amelia copies the patterns into her notebook and follows them to the attic door. There she finds a locked trunk holding her grandfather Walter's old astronomy notebook, full of sketches and stargazing stories. The constellations on her paper moon match those in the notebook, pointing to a hidden link with her grandfather's past. When Grandpa Walter finds her, he shares memories of his own youth and the first paper moon he made. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this tale of curiosity and family bonds can be read on Online Masal.
