Coral is a mermaid who lives in a warm, bright blue bay, and she never swims anywhere without her waterproof sketchbook and short pencil. She draws the silver fish, purple anemones and drowsy sea turtles of her reef, believing that each creature carries a story worth keeping. Other merfolk smile at her habit but rarely grasp why she bothers, so when she passes the last kelp forest into cooler, dimmer water, she goes on her own curiosity alone.
There she meets Glimmer, a timid silver-blue fish with golden eyes and glowing spots. Earning its trust with a soft voice and a sketch, Coral follows the little fish through a gap between two tall rocks into a hidden valley of unfamiliar creatures, among them Pip, a bold thumbnail-sized crab with an orange, speckled shell. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle marine tale about patience, observation and the trust of wild things can be read on Online Masal.
