The Marshmallow Balloon

In Candy Village, where the streets smell of honey and the lampposts are striped like candy canes, three friends—Pippa, Toby, and little Lulu—are excited for the annual Float Festival. The prize is a giant balloon made of whipped marshmallow, tied with a twisty rope. Unable to resist, Pippa gives the rope a playful tug, and suddenly the balloon lifts off, carrying all three friends into the sky. They find themselves floating in a basket made of woven licorice, with no map and no plan.

As they drift higher, they encounter challenges like the peppermint wind and the need to steer. Toby, always prepared with his rope, and Lulu, with her quick thinking, work together to find a way home. Pippa learns the importance of thinking before acting, and the friends discover that teamwork and creativity can solve problems. This charming tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN teaches children about responsibility, cooperation, and staying calm in unexpected situations. The Marshmallow Balloon can be read on Online Masal.
