The Little Star Sailor

Lumi is a young sailor with warm brown skin and curly black hair, dressed in a silver-blue jacket and a red scarf. Her crescent-moon-shaped boat glides along the solar wind, and at her side travels Pip, a small golden navigator the size of a cat who keeps star maps in his satchel. Before setting out for a distant space station, the two plan their route with care.

Their voyage takes them past the Swan and the Eagle, and they make a wish upon a comet. When Lumi's brass compass suddenly stops working, a mysterious figure called the Polaris Keeper shows her how to locate the North Star with the Big Dipper, allowing the journey to continue safely. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle space tale for young children can be read on Online Masal.
