Nora lives at the edge of town in a small house where the night sky stretches wide and bright. Each evening she looks up at the moon and wonders if flowers could ever grow there, filling scraps of paper with sketches of imagined moon gardens. Her green canvas tool belt, a tiny trowel, three seed packets, and her tortoise Moss in his little red knitted scarf carry her dream of planting something beyond the ordinary.
One morning Grandpa Sol brings a jar of gray moon soil from a friend who studies the stars, and Nora begins to plant sunflower seeds, beans, daisies, and a pumpkin seed, watering and singing and reading to them. When nothing sprouts, Grandpa Sol reminds her that good ideas need many tries, and a nighttime thought leads her to build a small greenhouse from sticks and clear plastic. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle story of patience and curiosity can be read on Online Masal.
