The Little Jungle Architect

In the jungle, a young gorilla named Kito spends his days building, his vine belt jingling as his friend Pip, a tiny parrot, stays close by. Kito longs to make something that reaches the sky, and his mother, Mama Nia, reminds him that the jungle gives what they need but they should take only what it can spare. Kito carries this thought with him as he gathers materials for his next project.

When heavy rain makes the river flood, Kito's skills matter more than ever. He gathers the animals and suggests raised shelters in the trees, and together they use fallen branches, leaves and vines to build platforms suited to each creature.
