The Jungle Telescope

Milo, a young monkey living deep in the green jungle, enjoys exploring but often wishes he could see beyond the tallest trees. One bright morning he comes across a shiny brass telescope half-buried among the leaves. Peering through it, he finds the treetops suddenly closer, full of details he had never noticed before.

Eager to share, Milo shows his find to his best friend Tuk the gibbon and a small green parrot named Pip. Climbing higher together, the three friends come upon a secret nesting area where birds of many colors hide among the leaves. They agree to watch quietly so as not to frighten the birds, and later Nana Fig, the wise old monkey, praises Milo's careful observation.
