The Invisible Giant

Gilbert is a friendly giant who lives in a cave in a green valley. With his warm tan skin, thick curly chestnut-brown hair and bushy beard, he loves helping the villagers, yet he often feels lonely because his size makes him different from everyone else.

One sunny morning, Gilbert finds a small blue bottle near his cave, labelled 'Invisibility Potion' in tiny letters. Mistaking it for berry juice, he takes a big gulp and slowly begins to fade. At first his new invisibility seems fun, but the tricks soon lose their charm and he feels more alone than ever. In the village, a curious child named Milly notices things others miss, and one afternoon she finds a giant footprint by the river. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN can be read on Online Masal.
