Oliver begins a sunny Saturday hoping to discover something new, and the surprise is close at hand: one of his red shoelaces has become golden and gleaming, as though it had absorbed a bit of sunlight. When he ties it and goes outside, the lace shines more brightly and gives a gentle pull, so he follows it along the lane, past the bakery, and into a narrow street he had never noticed before.

There a lively market awaits, with stalls selling jars of buzzing fireflies, hats that change color when you sneeze, spinning pinwheels and rainbow ribbons. Oliver calls his enchanted lace Goldie, and Goldie leads him to a small green door tucked between two crates. Behind it, a winding staircase descends into a hidden workshop filled with forgotten inventions, where he meets Tinker, a knee-high gnome, and Pip, a brass sparrow. Tinker has a problem: his great invention, the Weather Whistle, is missing a piece. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle tale can be read on Online Masal.
