The Frozen Music Box

Mika and Tobi are two young explorers who enjoy snowy days and hidden places. One morning, they follow a path of glittering ice to an enormous glacier that hums with chilly blue light. Deep within the ice, they notice a small silver and pale blue music box adorned with tiny snowflakes. Tobi wants to seize it immediately, but Mika cautions that the ice is fragile and that hurrying might crack the old treasure. Together, they must determine how to release it without damaging it.

The story follows their careful efforts on the glacier. Mika sweeps away loose snow with her blue mittens while Tobi taps the ice gently with a wooden tool, chip by chip. When Tobi grows tired and his curiosity pushes him to go faster, they pause to share cocoa from a flask and consider a better approach.
