Amara lives where the great desert meets the sky, in a place of baking sun and whispering wind. When a rare rain finally falls and sunlight returns, a golden door rises in a hollow between two dunes. Curious, Amara steps through it and finds an ancient garden hidden underground, tended by Nara, a gentle guardian with pale green skin and silver-white hair. Nara tells how the garden once grew in the open desert and withdrew below when the rains ceased, and how the golden door opens only after such rare rain.
As Amara wanders the garden, she learns that its heart is a spring whose water sustains every plant. Spotting a leak in the stone wall, she joins Nara to seal it, and comes to understand that discovery carries responsibility. Amara promises to guard the garden and keep its secret, returning after each rain. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle tale of water, teamwork and care for nature can be read on Online Masal.
