The Bamboo Elevator

In a lush jungle where vines drape like ribbons, a clever panda named Po spends his mornings sketching plans on a large bamboo leaf. Wearing a brown tool belt with a tiny hammer and measuring string, Po notices that the smaller animals—rabbits, squirrels, and little birds—cannot reach the tastiest bamboo leaves growing high on tall stalks. Their sad, hungry glances set his inventive mind to work, and he soon spots a wide, hollow bamboo stalk near the river that could serve a special purpose.

Realizing he cannot manage alone, Po gathers three friends: Mimi the monkey, skilled at tying knots; Tuk the hornbill, who knows where the strongest vines grow; and Ella the elephant, gentle and strong enough to steady the stalk. Together they prepare the bamboo for Po's idea, with Mimi wrapping ropes, Tuk dropping vines from above, and Ella holding the stalk upright while Po measures and marks. This tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows teamwork and careful planning, and it can be read on Online Masal.
