In the Smoky Mountains, a moss-green dragon named Bram prefers baking to roaring. While other dragons practice their fire breath, he dreams of cinnamon, soft dough and apple pie. One sunny morning he puts on a flour-dusted apron and opens a small bakery in a corner of his cave, complete with a wooden counter, a stone oven and shelves ready for pies. This gentle tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows a dragon who chooses his own path.
His first customer is Pip, a tiny grey mouse in a blue vest who offers to taste pies and fetch apples. Bram's early attempts fail because his fire breath is far too hot, leaving the pies burnt and black. Hazel the hedgehog brings apples and urges him not to give up, while Gran Owl teaches him to hold his breath for three counts before blowing. Through daily practice and Pip's careful advice, Bram slowly learns to measure his heat. The story can be read on Online Masal.
