Max wakes early on a sunny Saturday morning to a tiny voice calling his name. Looking over the edge of his bed, he finds his teddy bear waving and a wooden soldier polishing a miniature sword, and the toys invite him to a hidden kingdom beneath his bed, where block-built houses line the streets and nobody is smiling.

Mrs. HoneyPaws, a teddy bear in a little shawl, and Captain Oak, a proud wooden soldier in a red coat, explain the trouble: the soldiers insist on strict order, the bears long for comfort, and the two groups no longer play together. The toys ask Max to become their king and bring peace, and seated on a throne of building blocks he listens to what each side needs. This tale by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows a child who solves a conflict by listening and finding a place for everyone, and it can be read on Online Masal.
