The Shy Yeti

High on a snowy mountain, a young yeti named Yuki lives quietly with his fluffy white fur and amber eyes. He enjoys gathering pretty stones and shaping snow sculptures, but he stays away from the village children below, held back by his nervousness. His friend Pip, a small snow hare with a red scarf, keeps urging him to say hello, yet Yuki only whispers that he will try tomorrow. This gentle story by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN follows a shy character who finds small ways to reach out.

Down in the valley, the village readies itself for the winter snow festival. When a curious girl named Mira notices Yuki and leaves him a gift, a quiet exchange of kindness begins, with sculptures and small treasures passing between them. Even so, Yuki hesitates to step forward, and when an avalanche threatens the festival, he must decide whether to act. The tale can be read on Online Masal and offers young readers a warm look at friendship, kindness and the small steps that build confidence.
