On a breezy island surrounded by the wide blue sea, Poppy the puffin makes her home in a snug burrow and wanders the nearby paths each day. One morning, a small red scarf appears outside her door, soft and warm, with a single loose thread stretching across the grass. Wondering who left it, Poppy gives the thread a tug and begins to follow it.

Her walk turns into a shared journey. Bramble the razorbill, satchel of woven seaweed in tow, walks beside her, while Pip the tern flies above to spot more threads from the sky. The three friends trace a line of colorful yarn — blue, pink, green and purple — past tide pools, grey rocks and an old cliff, until the trail leads them to a little cave behind a waterfall. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER follows the friends as they discover what the threads are for and choose how to help, and it can be read on Masalcı Baba.
