Leo lives at the edge of a green valley, and one sunny morning a truck brings him a surprise: a bold, curious goat with creamy white fur and brown patches, whom he names Pepper. Pepper wears a red collar with a tiny brass bell, and within her first hour she is already climbing the fence, the woodpile and the porch rail, leaving Leo worried that she will climb something too high or wander too far.
Down the lane lives a tall, sturdy farmer known for her wise advice. When Leo explains his problem, she tells him that a climbing goat needs a place to climb, and that kindness means giving Pepper room to be a goat while boundaries keep her out of danger. Together they gather wood, rope and old tires and build Pepper her own climbing course, with low steps, a ramp, a tire tunnel and a sturdy platform. This gentle tale by Çınar BİBER can be read on Masalcı Baba and follows one boy and one goat as they learn that caring for an animal means combining freedom with safety.
