Felicity the flamingo lives beside a sparkling lagoon, where she wades in the shallows and hunts for tiny shrimp. Lately she has found something even more absorbing than foraging: painting. With crushed berries, green leaves and a thin twig, she makes bright pictures of the sunset, dancing fish and swaying grass. Yet she is shy about her unusual art and hides her work beneath a bush, afraid that others might laugh.
Her cheerful friend Pip the spoonbill discovers her secret and is amazed, urging her to show her paintings at the lagoon festival. Felicity is terrified that the other animals will find her art too strange, and Pip stays by her side, helping her practice and reminding her that trying something new takes courage. As the festival nears, she must choose between hiding her talent and sharing it. Written by Çınar BİBER, this gentle tale about courage, friendship and self-expression can be read on Masalcı Baba.
