In a bright corner of the ocean lives Finn, a small teal-blue fish who dreams of becoming an underwater architect. Equipped with a red tool belt, a shell ruler and a seaweed pencil, he sketches ambitious designs for his friends: a shell-shaped house for Coral the Crab, a wide cave for Pearl the Sea Turtle and a tall tower for Pip the Seahorse. Once the homes are finished, however, they turn out not to suit their owners at all, and Finn has to face the gap between a clever drawing and a home that truly works.
Rather than giving up, Finn watches how his friends actually live and asks them what they need, then measures and redesigns each home around its owner. Written by Yavuz DEMİRKIRAN, this gentle story for children aged 4–8 shows that empathy and observation matter as much as creativity and skill. The tale can be read on Online Masal.
